Font Download Instructions

All urdu posts on my blog are using Alvi Nastaleeq and Urdu Naskh Asiatype Unicode font, while all Arabic transcript is in Alqalam Quran Font and Majeed Quranic Font. Which are designed to work with most Operating Systems and browsers. The pages have been tested using Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows XP, Vista and Linux.

To read Urdu text, you will need to download and install these fonts into your fonts directory. To do this using Windows, first click on the link below. When prompted, choose Save. You will be asked where you would like to save the file. Navigate to your fonts directory (usually C:\Windows\Fonts or C:\Winnt\Fonts), and save these .ttf file there. On Windows You can also use font Installer to install these fonts at Once.
